Risk of preterm labr: If you are having persistent cramping during your second trimester, you may be at risk for preterm labor. If cramping persists, occurs repeatedly, or is associated with decreased fetal movement, loss of fluid or vaginal bleeding--> you should go to your OB doctor or to the nearest ob-gyn triage. You can always call your ob-gyn doctor regarding your question. He may want you to come in.

Cramps: It is normal in pregnancy to develop cramps. Sometimes a small bottle of tonic water may help.
