Newer antihistamines: The newer class of antihistamines like Claritin (loratadine) have very little central side effects. These may include sedation, changes in BP , prostate effects, etc. Paradoxical side effects do occur especially if you re taking many different medications. Review all you meds with your physician or pharmacist.
