Up to 3-5 days: We think that sperm can live for up to 3-5 days, so couples trying to conceive who have intercourse at least 2-3 times a week have a better chance. Frozen and thawed sperm may have a shorter lifespan, for couples or single women using donor sperm or frozen sperm from their partner.

Sperm life: Sperm lives at least 48 hours, often 72, sometimes even longer -in the cervical canal. Sperm dies quickly in the vagina, which is one reason poorly motile sperm have fertility issues. Btw, the egg/oocyte really only has between 1-24 hours survival when it can be fertilized.
