Mold/mildew allergy?: May need to check room for areas that get damp/wet, where molds & mildews can thrive—carpet, behind paneling, around windows. Spraying with antifungal like lysol may help unless problem is extensive. Otc anti-histamines like claritin/zyrtec/benadryl may help symptoms. Rx steroid nasal spray can offer additional relief. If severe, see allergist for possible desensitization.

Find the source: The symptoms you describe are more likely a nonallergic response to mold. But whether it's allergic or not, medications are not likely to help; you won't see any significant relief until you locate the source of the mold and eliminate it. Mold growth generally means water intrusion; you need to find where the water is coming from, fix the problem, then clean up the mold by cleaning or removal.
