Why does one of my testicles seem to disappear when i'm laying down. it moves up into my body and feels tender when it drops down again.?

Several reasons: Testicles move up and down in the scrotum for several reasons. One is called the cremasteric reflex whereby the testicles are pulled up when the thigh close to the scrotum is touched or brushed. This helps prevent injury when something is too close for comfort. The other thing is temperature, whereby the testicles draw up and down for temperature regulation. For tenderness, see your doctor.
