Can amoxicillin cure chlamydia?

It could, but...: The efficacy isn't as good as Azithromycin or doxycycline. If you are given amoxicillin, it is highly recommended you have a repeat test after treatment to make sure you cleared the infection.

No: Chlamydia requires treatment with azithromycin, because it is what we call an atypical bacteria; Amoxicillin does nothing against it.
