3 months: You should not try to become pregnant for at least 3 months after a d&c, to give your uterus time to become ready for another implantation. Take your multivitamins anyway.

Good question: I typically recommend for my patients to not get pregnant anywhere from 3-6 months after a d&c. One, to heal physically and two to heal emotionally.

Next month : Your body will start getting ready to ovulate the upcoming month or 2 . Use protection and avoid pregnancy at least 4-6 months after this procedure after having this procedure.
