Thigh Bump: Without seeing the lesion it is impossible to make a correct diagnosis. But this could be a neurofibroma. Neurofibromas are benign nerve sheath tumors. They arise from the supportive tissue within the nerve itself. As these tumors grow, they displaced and compress important nerve fascicles within the nerve. This causes pain, weakness, and numbness.

Possible shingles: You may have shingles, the second coming of chicken pox. Get yourself to your dermatologist asap for a proper diagnosis. If you do have it, it hurts, is contagious to people who have never had chicken pox, and can leave you in pain long after the skin lesions are gone.

Another possibility is herpes simplex. Clinical course and viral culture will tell the difference, although the treatments are similar. It is worthwhile to determine the difference because if it is herpes simplex it can be recurrent.

Depends on the cause: There are many types and causes of skin blisters or rashes. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections and insect bites can cause blisters on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
