A stye / an S.T.I. ?: Both can be treated. A sty (stye) is a bump in the eyelid, which is actually an infection of the oil glands in the eyelid. An s.T.I. (sexually transmitted infection) can occur easily in men or women, and treatments are available although some disease have no cure. Try to avoid catching s.T.I.'s.
