Green food, bile: Green stool, dark, not like day-glo, is usually from dark green foods, e.g. Spinach. Bile gives stool its brown or green color. Normal consistency, likely no problem, and nothing to do about it. Yellow, greasy, fatty, foul smelling stool-not normal.
