Can gastritis cause green stool?

No: Strictly speaking 'gastritis' can only be defined on the basis of biopsies. The 'itis suffix indicates inflammation. This can have many causes: i cannot think of any that cause green stool.

No: May cause black tarry stools if there is bleeding in the stomach but not green stools.
