Too much bleeding: I'm so sorry you're going through this, that is way too much bleeding for anyone to have to deal with. You could have a fibroid or polyp as cause of bleeding. Have you thought about a Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud? These have helped a lot of women. Maybe further evaluation by your doctor, a hysteroscopy or a D&C would be next in order. Also, young women with excess bleeding should be checked for von willebrand.
