No: Both are common. Lung cancers occasionally produce remove effects but leg cramps aren't a known paraneoplastic syndrome. If the nodule is suspicious for cancer rather than just a old granuloma (here in kansas, most folks have a lump from healed histoplasmosis), do get it worked up, and if a simple medication or exercise for leg cramps have failed, a neurologist may help.

Yes and no: Yes, if the lung nodule is malignant, it may secrete substances that may give you leg cramps. On the other hand, the leg cramps may be totally unrelated, and if you are worried by the lung nodule, you may unconsciously exaggerate any minor problems that you have.
