A member asked:

I'm having numbness two inches from my wrist toward my elbow. feels like a tennis sweat band. what could be cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can examine the area to see if there is a problem with the skin. The doctors, and a neurologist, can check for nerve problems in those nerves coming out of the spinal cord, all the way to the numb area. A physical medicine and rehabilitation (physiatry) doctor can help find the cause, if there is a nerve or muscle problem.
