It can get worse: Whether primarily psychological or biochemical, mental disorders tend to ripple out over time and affect more and more domains of our lives. With so many new and effective treatments available-both psychological and medical, mental health practitioners have a renewed sense of hope and excitement about what we can do to better our patients lives . Someone need not be afraid to seek help.

MI: You can have a high levels of cortisol which can cause memory problems, decreased immunity, etc.
