A member asked:

I have vertigo , what should i do and what precautions should i take , i am a regular smoker?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Quit smoking!: This is good for your health but won't likely cure your vertigo. Vertigo can have many causes. Resolution requires determination of the cause. But while you are awaiting a cure, you must be cautious in activities requiring balancing, such as climbing hills, stairs, or ladders. Walking on uneven ground, going over curbs, or in dark surroundings requires care too.
