Inflammation: You probably are still having significant inflammation of the surface of the brain or increased intracranial pressure. You need to be more vocal about your symptoms and make sure that your doctors are doing everything they can to address these two issues.

Test results?: I am going to assume that a lumbar puncture was performed and the spinal fluid examined by a pathologist and perhaps viral culture performed and that you do not have a subarachnoid bleed. Viral meningitis can leave you in considerable pain with only pain meds to manage it for up to two weeks. I'm sorry. Ask whether you might be suffering from mollaret's.
