No: But older preperations can cause lipoatrophy and skin hypertrophy. Show the area of concern to your doctor as patients with diabetes are more succeptable to infections of the skin in general.

Yes: Sterile techniques should be followed as close as possible with Insulin injections and signs of cellulitis should be treated as such.
