Bacterial vaginosis: Mostly commonly, a fishy odor from the vagina is bacterial vaginosis. An overgrowth of a normal bacteria in the vagina. Sometimes it can be in response to environmental changes such as changes in diet, exercise, stress or products placed in the vagina. If you're concerned, see your physician and she may decide to treat you with some antibiotics.
