Assume she's fine: We are finding many children with migrational disorders. The MRI shows us almost too much. There is no way to predict from an MRI what outcome will be. Young brains reorganize in remarkable ways. Seizures may even resolve with time. Behavior will improve with proper management. Highest risk is medication side effects and effects of repetitive seizures.

Developmental delays: can occur. Right temporal lobe seizures can cause visual-spatial memory abnormalities. Depending on the structures involved, sensory processing difficulties may occur. This child qualifies for Early Childhood Special Education Services for " Other Health Impairment". Call your school district's Child Find Team for a developmental evaluation. A Chromosomal Microarray may reveal a genetic cause.
