Post-op check: If a post-op visit was done, was there pain during the pelivc exam? Did the physician give advice? If it was not done or the surgeon who performed the tubal ligation was not seen, may be time to go back. Obtain records of the operation (op note, in particular). If the physician cannot duplicate the pain on exam or does not have explanation for it, take the records to another physician to evaluate.
