Theoretically 96 hrs: This is not as simple an answer as you may think. Basically we consider a drug to be cleared in 3 to 5 half lives (t1/2). In the case of warfarin this is in the neighborhood of 96 hours. However, many other factors must be considered to improve the estimated time. Protein binding, extraction ratios, etc. Drug/drug interactions and cyp inhibitors or inducers must be considered.
