Drug interaction: When you take more than one drug you do have an interaction. Simvastatin and coumadin (warfarin) are very often given together. Though now with newer blood thinners less coumadin (warfarin) is being used. Studies have shown that some statins increase risk and some decrease risk of bleeding. So if you have no increased signs of bruising and bleeding you may be still okay.
