Virus: Most likely a virus. Lots of fluids and tylenol (acetaminophen) if your temp is higher than 101f. Let your doctor know what's going on.

Call your Ob: Fever in a pregnant woman should always be taken seriously. This could be due to a number of things, ranging from benign to threatening to your baby's health. You should call your OB so he can make a diagnosis.

Precautions: The best thing to do is handwashing precautions, universal precautions to help prevent viral or other infectious agent transmission. This may be a gastroenteritis flu. Your daughter may have been exposed anyway.
