Ulnar nerve issues: Typically the symptoms you describe are caused by compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow. The ulnar nerve travels from the elbow to the ring and small finger. This condition is similar to carpal tunnel where the median nerve is compressed at the wrist and causes symptoms in the other three fingers. Ulnar nerve compression at the elbow is called cubital tunnel syndrome.
