Maybe: Depends what your consultant is asking to be done (or doing?). An MCA scan is a doppler exam of the middle cerebral arteries of the fetus's brain. So, you need to ask. Is the consultant doing the, "doppler" in his office? Are you being referred to some sort of imaging facility?
