Exercise: It's impossible to say where your pain is coming from without an examination but it's usually musculoskeletal. Long commutes are difficult on the body and the body tends to complain if it's not getting proper exercise and stretching. There is also a condition called piriformis syndrome which acts like sciatica, pain in hip and buttock radiating down leg. This responds to exercise too. Y.

Agree with Dr. S: Your symptoms may be part of menopause and osteoporosis. It would be useful to see your doctor for an evaluation. Regular exercise may help.
