Always: Anytime you plan on or are trying to conceive i would recommend taking prenatal vitamins. There is no harm in doing so ahead of time. This will get you in the habit of taking them so that when you do conceive, you will be taking them during the early first trimester instead of starting after you find out.

Yes.: All supplements for pregnant females should have 800mcg of folic acid, not 400mcg. I do not know what the amway product contains, but there are many good and less expensive pre-natal vitamins!
