Yes: Yes you can take some antibiotics but others are harmfully or potentially harmful. Only take medications given by doctors who know you are pregnant. Do not take old antibiotics or someone else's !

Some: Some antibiotics can be taken fairly safely in pregnancy, but always remember to take a probiotic supplement with them, as infected caused by clostridium difficile is on the rise. This infection is not killed by many antibiotics and starts proliferating when other "good" bugs in the guts are killed. It's also important to use only those abx that are "safe" to take and only when you really need it.
