Depends on...: Problems with standing for a lot time or with persistent vibration will vary with the time of the activity, the intensity of it, and the individual person. Vibration can damage nerves, so people use gloves and other equipment to damp vibrations. Prolonged standing is not good for the circulation to legs, nor for back and spine symptoms, so one should shift weight and move around.
