I have left ventricular dysfunction & cervical spondylosis. what is the safest nsaid for me? long half-life naproxen or short half life ibuprofen?

Either but: All nsaids carry a cardiac black box warning from the fda but Naproxen probably is the one with the best profile in this regard but may have more GI side effects so you may want to take a ppi like Prilosec otc with it if using it regularly. To minimize the GI issues but check with your cardiologist, first.

A Suggestion: See if you can use volatren gel 1% 3-4 x / day which is topical and generally will not have systemic effects. This works very well for a subset of patients and is well worth atry in your case.
