Unlikely : Unfortunately unlikely but now you know the cause which is great. Your physician may be able to prescribe something like beta blockers to mitigate your symptoms until your hypothyroid is treated.

See doc.: Need to see your doc to straighten this out. If they have DX hypothyroid they need to decide if your sx are related to hypothyroid or not. If so, they should treat you without delay. If not you may need additional diagnostic testing to explain your symptoms.
