Tinea versicolor?: Is it something looking like the one in the picture here? This is called tinea versicolor and it is caused by a fungal infection. It is often more visible in summer time because everywhere on the skin can tan except those areas infected, thus giving you the contrast to see. It is treatable but recurrence is common. It is neither dangerous nor contagious. If u want treatment, consult doc. Good luck.
