Get checked: There are certain vaginal infections, namely bacterial vaginosis, which has increased smell with sexual intercourse, menses and theoretically, you could be more aware of it with urination.

Check your urine: You should check your urine at the doctors office to ensure you don't have an infection. If an std is suspected, you can get tested without having to have a swab through the urethra (thank god!). Again, in this website, I do stress a good history and physical exam and microscopic examination of the urine. If you are symptomatic, you may need to be treated.
