No: Raw egg yolks are rich in biotin, a b vitamin that in high doses might help some cases of hair loss. However, the egg white contains a protein that prevents absorption of the biotin in the yolk. Also, a single yolk contains only 1% of the amount of biotin recommended per day to treat hair loss, but has nearly a full day's recommended cholesterol intake. Take 3 mg (3, 000mcg) biotin/day instead.
