Dr. or ER. can check: If a person really has a blood pressure of 156/110, that bottom number is much too high. If that number is accurate, bad things can happen. So, a person in this situation must talk with his doctor to find out what to do, or have somebody (or an ambulance) take him to the E.R. If he cannot reach his doctor by phone.
