Common: It is common, but not necessarily normal. The major cause of decreased sex drive in most studies are stress and fatigue. I don't know many new moms or moms of young children who don't have both. The vast majority of libido issues are environmental and not hormonal, however a few rare forms are due to a lack of testosterone, which can be tested.
