When you ovulate: If you ovulate which you can get a test at any pharmacy, it is supposed to be 14 days beofre your period, so teh first day of your period is day 1 , so if your periods are every 28 days , it would be 28-14=day 14 when u ovulate, if periods are every 35 days would be 35-14=day21, the egg can live up to 48 hrs and the sperm if normal up to 72 hrs so u do not have to have intercourse the exact day.
