Biopsy will answer: Your concern is understandable, but your doctor decided to go for biopsy since physical examination did not provide a satisfactory answer. I trust that you are trying to quit smoking, since risk of disease increases with increasing time of use of tobacco. Please keep your appointment and hope for the best.
