Bone marraw biopsy: Bone marraw biopsy is somewhat uncomfortablel. But the risk of general anethesia is too high. Using local numb medicine will decrease the pain.

SURE: If the test is necessary, then fear of needles, fear of a closed space (an mri) any fear will usually be managed with a tranquillizer allowing the patient to doze off. A local anesthetic is commonly used for a bone marrow biopsy. Tell them why you need to be asleep. Do you go to a dentist who gives you something to put you to sleep?
