A member asked:

Stomach cancer stage 4 ivb is it curable?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just possibly: I'm going to assume that the cancer is one of the common types of adenocarcinoma and that the diagnosis is correct. Arch surg jan 2009 (source for the "b" designation) has survival curves for IV ~50% at 12 mo, ~35% at 24 mo, ~15% at 60 mo at which point they level off, i.e., there are 10-year survivors. Good luck.
