No: Gastroenteritis can have just diarrhea with or without fever or stomach ache. Vomiting is fairly common, though, as part of gastroenteritis.

My 4 month old has seedy yellow poop and is puking what's wrong?

Poop is fine/?vomit: Yellow seedy poop would be declared "normal" baby poop/stool. No need to fret. Vomiting can still be a normal infant phenomena due to mild reflux. Check with your doctor to ensure the weight/growth is progressing in a normal fashion. Overfeeding with too large of a volume at one time may be the issue. Smaller amounts over a shorter period of time may help. Upright positioning after meals.

My son is 6 months and throwing up a lot. Do I need to take him to er?

Infant vomiting: Vomitting infants can be serious as it would not take long for them to get dehydrated. Vomiting can be a sign of other illness such as upper respiratory infections, ear infections and not just GI illness, best to have infants evaluated as soon as possible.
