Exam & urinalysis: Anytime in pregnancy that you have abdominal pain, you want to see your OB to determine if a miscarriage is occurring, infection, or preterm contractions after 2nd trimester. A urine test is needed if indeed you have burning & a careful exam to check for other causes of abdominal pain. Take care.
