Yes: But not always. If kidneys fail, the smell of urea products will be noted through skin and breath due to lack of efficient removal by the kidneys.

Can be with azotemia: No correlation between body odor & norm, ally functioning kidneys. But serious kidney disease, as in end stage kideny disease or failing kidneys subjecs are unable to process or eliminate certain toxins such as urea. This gives them an unpleasant odor.
