2 days: The half-life of the hormones in the patch are short-lived. As soon as the patch is removed, your body starts to break down the hormones. It is removed by the liver and excreted in urine and feces. By 2 days after removing the patch, all of the hormones should be removed from your body.

Ortho Evra?: Do you mean the Ortho Evra patch? The progestin component (norelegestromin) of the patch has a half-life of 26-28 hours meaning after one day blood levels will be less than 50%, after 2 days less than 25%, after 3 days 10-12%, 5% after 4 days, etc...Blood levels of norelegestromin should be less than 1% in under a week; ethinyl estradiol, the other component has an even shorter half-life.

IVery fast: If the patch is removed it is only a matter of hours before the meficine is cleared from your system. The effects may last a bit longer but the meds are cleared rapidly if the liver is working correctly.
