On right managment: Your doctor is doing right thing, in managing your problem . If you are not an alcoholic, substance abuser, have no hepatitis, and no symptoms, don't worry too much but needs follow up ( let your doctor worry ) , watch your medications have good dietary habits , vitamins, exercise & your physician fallow up.

HIDA SCAN: Certainly, the most common cause of RUQ discomfort is gallbladder disease, but it's not the only cause. This could be musculoskeletal, hepatic, even atypical cardiac discomfort. A further work up could include hida scan of the gallbladder with cck injection, to check the function of that organ. If this is just a nuisance you might not need to do anything. Ask your doctor, and good luck.
