Appointment: Make an appointment with a psychiatrist you feel comfortable with and who you feel understands you.

Easy!: A person feeling that "professionals don't pay attention to me" can easily fix that problem by first figuring out why professionals seem to be that way. The person should be considerate, polite, and undemanding when calling for an appointment. Be on time for visits. Be sure not to call too often, nor after-hours, unless necessary. Have a good insurance (ppo), so the doctor doesn't have to worry.

HELP OR ATTENTION?: I am unclear what you really want here and so this may be the problem with other professionals. Do you want help or attention? There is plenty of help out there. Attention is like the jerry springer show. Make an appointment and explain all the symptoms and what you have already tried to get help. Then follow the suggestions and try to stick with one doctor.
