I have server knee pain on the left side of the knee cap..can bear weight and constant pain and swelling. no insurance and i need help. what can it be?

Clinic: If you have no insurance, call the closest medical school clinic. Usually listed under a university name. Ask receptionist for name of the walk-in clinic or their general medical clinic. Then call the clinic and explain you are uninsured. Most likely they have a volunteer no cost clinic. You have arthritis or knee injury and need to be seen. If all fails, go to er -- they cannot turn you away.

PF arthritis: Tendonitis, synovitis. Try nsaids, rest, ice.
