I "quote" from a DO: An osteopath (do) brings a different perspective than md's, who usually rely on xrays, mri's, meds & injections. A do trained in hands-on diagnosis & manipulation might find things overlooked by others. A do is well-suited to treating what is found, with methods that are proven but usually unavailable to most md's. Look at http://www.Osteopathic.Org/osteopathic-health/treatment/pages/default.Aspx.
