Depends: Are the shoes new, if so then no. The fungus needs to be transmitted into the shoes, can't get fungus from simply wearing the shoes. Think of areas you are barefoot and share with other people, such as showers at fitness clubs, pools. Find a good lysol with anti fungual and get in the habit of spraying your shoes out once/week.
